This volume presents a diverse range of research articles. One study analyzes the tensile properties, microstructure, and microhardness of directly deposited Waspaloy using gas tungsten arc welding. Another paper examines the influence of cooling rates on the morphology evolution of primary Mg2Si in Al–15Mg2Si-1.0Gd in-situ composite.

Research on thiol functionalized silica pseudo-nanospheres characterizes their potential as advanced corrosion protection materials. Additionally, a study focuses on the microscopic characterization of two black Aspergillus species, A. niger and A. aculeatus, from different substrates and indoor environments.

The sonochemical deposition of La and Ce nanoparticles on TiO2 photocatalysts for antibiotic degradation is explored. Another paper highlights the anti-HHV1 properties of Orthosiphon stamineus, an outstanding herb. The tensile properties and microstructure of Fe–17Mn–2Al–0.6C TWIP steel are also investigated.

A study on the green synthesis of calcium magnesium silicate (CMS-Akermanite) using natural biowastes by solid-state sintering route is presented. The physical and mechanical properties analyses of zirconia reinforced experimental nanohybrid dental composite from rice husk are discussed.

Enhancement of photochemical reaction for phenol degradation via TiO2 nanomaterials under H2O2 and FeCl3 is detailed, including the mechanism and kinetic modeling. Another paper investigates the removal of Al(III) and Cu(II) from textile wastewater using activated carbon prepared from rubberwood sawdust and kenaf core fiber.
