This volume presents a diverse collection of research articles. The first paper discusses the development of cross-linked polyvinyl alcohol-titanium dioxide (PVA/TiO2) film for antibacterial coating on steel. Another study investigates the wear behaviour and properties of RHA reinforced 7075 aluminium T6 composites produced by vacuum infiltration. The effect of heat treatment on the hardness properties and microstructure of 9Cr-Mo-V T91 alloy steel is analyzed.

A study on Chlorella vulgaris explores cell wall degradation under darkness and UVB conditions for lipid and carbohydrate recovery. Porous hydroxyapatite beads prepared from fish scales are characterized for potential bone filler applications. Ultrastuctural observation of pollen mites on Tetragonula fuscobalteata is presented. Microstructure development and tensile properties of ADC12 Al-Si alloy with different praseodymium content are explored. Green synthesized silver nanoparticles using leaves of Polyalthia sclerophylla are characterized for their cytotoxicity and antibacterial properties. A comprehensive investigation of trichomes in Vitex L. (Lamiaceae) in Peninsular Malaysia is provided. The morphology and functional histology of the lower respiratory system of reticulated python are examined. The effects of temperature on the formation of nitride surface layer via thermochemical gaseous nitriding process are studied. Nylon 66/graphene nanoplatelet composites are modified via electron beam irradiation. Development of PVDF–silica aerogel composite for evaporation suppression geo-membrane is discussed. Microencapsulated geraniol oil is characterized for its morphological features. The properties of stainless steel (SS316L)–hydroxyapatite (HAP) foam under different compositions and sintering temperatures are analyzed. Iron ore processing plant in Kuala Lipis is characterized. The optimization of hardness properties and microstructural features of SiC reinforced composite coating on duplex stainless steel is studied. The synthesis of molecularly imprinted polymer of bisphenol A glycerolate dimethacrylate for formaldehyde recognition in aqueous medium is investigated. Structural transformation of Au-incorporated carbon nanofiber interconnect is studied. Physicochemical characterization of various growth substrates for wild Schizophyllum commune cultivation is presented. The histological effect of high-dose Aquilaria subintegra leaves aqueous extract on several organs in ICR mice is evaluated. Taxonomic values of trichomes in Malvaceae subfamilies Bombacoideae and Helicteroideae are discussed.
